Journal 11

Yes Brutus is the most noble Roman because he was the only one who did kill Caesar for any personal gain. He did it for what he believed was right and for the good of the people. He decided not to kill himself because iot would be less honorable. Brutus was of course the most noble Roman.

I believe that Brutus will realize that the makes he had made have cost him dearly and that he will end up taking his own life. It will be difficult for him to do because suicide is not a very honorable way to die. He may also make the decision easily because by ending his life he will have done the honorable thing and made up for Caesar's death by taking his own

Why Brutus' speech failed

Brutus' speech ultimately failed because Mark Antony easily convinced the crowd to side with himself.  The crowd thought that Brutus just wants a lot of power and does not care about Rome just like what Brutus said about Caesar.  In Antony's speech he convinces tho crowd to beliveve that murdering Caesar was unjust. Then he reads the will and everyone is in it so the crowd easiely sides with him.

Convince

convinced my parents to get me a new baseball bat because all my other bats are illegal in our conference now. I asked them to get me one because of my grades and that I'm the only one without a bat. I used logos because I gave some logical reasons that made sense to them so they bought me my new bat.

Did Caesar have to die?

I don't necessarily think Caesar HAD to die. Sometimes there is situations where it could be for the best though. I think Caesar was responsible for his own death. He had too much power and couldn't handle it. He took advantage of his power so people turned against him, including his best friend, Brutus. If Caesar would have just used his power to more people's advantage rather than just his own the death would have never happened. Caesar's death is also kind of on the conspirators too though. Even some people that didn't really have a say in it had to stab Caesar because they were convinced to turn against him. It was their fault that they couldn't of thought of a better way of doing things. In conclusion, Caesar's death was put on both, Caesar and the conspirators because they both took part of the assassination.

What was said in this secret exchange?

i think that Cassius and Brutus were talking about framing someone else for the murder so neither of them got in trouble. Neither of them wanted to lose their status in high society by getting in trouble so they would frame someone and have them take the fall.

If you were warned that someone's dreams or visions foretold danger for you, how would you respond? Why?

If someone told me about danger in my future, I would just go on as if nothing had changed. I don't believe it fortune tellers or people like that. It may be stuck in the back of my mind and i would do my hardest tp try and not let it affect me in any way. I would just forget about what he told me and move on.
